Biography
HERO, born Uri Alamo, is an Ethiopian-Israeli hip-hop artist and producer, and the founder of Demoz Records. Growing up in Netanya, Israel, HERO fused the rich sounds of his Ethiopian heritage with the raw energy of Israeli street culture, crafting a sound that is entirely his own.
His debut album "Netanya 2 LA" (2023) was recorded at Demoz Records and mixed at the legendary NoName Studios (Death Row) via EngineEars.com in Los Angeles, by Grammy-winning engineer Derek 'MixedByAli' Ali. Across 13 tracks it bridges continents and cultures — a young man's journey from the streets of Netanya to the heart of the music industry.
In 2025, HERO returned with back-to-back singles: "EAZY" featuring live guitars by Ra'anan Fogel, and "Lo Oved Alay" feat. ADISO, proving his sound continues to evolve while staying rooted in authenticity.
As the founder of Demoz Records, HERO is building more than a music career. He is creating a platform for Israeli artists to reach a global audience.
